Product description

Looking for food-safe epoxy? This clear epoxy resin is suitable for direct food contact. It is ideal for coating serving boards, tiered trays, cheese boards, knife handles, and plates with a food-safe layer. Compared to the standard RESION UV Epoxy, this food-safe epoxy has a higher viscosity, making it thicker.

Note: adding pigment will cause the epoxy to lose its food-safe properties. This epoxy is suitable as a coating, but not as a casting resin.

Because it is free from bisphenol F—a substance commonly found in many plastic products—this epoxy resin is food-safe once cured. This certified resin is therefore safe for food contact and can be used with confidence.

Benefits of this food safe epoxy resin

  • Free of bisphenol F.
  • Solvent-free.
  • Low odour.
  • Highly transparent.
  • High scratch resistance and protection.
