Epifanes Clear Marine Varnish
- Classic yacht varnish
- High elasticity
- High UV resistance
Epifanes Clear Marine Varnish is a high-gloss classic yacht varnish with long-lasting gloss retention. It is a one-component varnish that is highly UV resistant, partly due to the extra built-in ultraviolet filter. This gives the wood optimum protection against discolouration caused by sunlight! This boat varnish excels because of its exceptional high elasticity, which means that the varnish does not crack on working wood.
Features Epifanes Clear Marine Varnish
- 1-component marine varnish.
- Very UV resistant.
- High elasticity.
Applications
Epifanes Clear Boat Lacquer can be used for new work on solid bare wood (e.g. meranti, mahogany, Oregon pine) and plywood inside and outside above the waterline. In addition, this boat varnish can be used for maintenance of existing, intact 1-component and 2-component paint systems regardless of brand.
Processing instructions
Do not apply Epifanes Clear Marine Varnish wet-on-wet and avoid higher layer thicknesses than advised to avoid sags and problems with drying through. Always ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying of the paint. Avoid applying paint in full sun or wind. Under these conditions, rapid evaporation of solvent occurs, which can prevent the paint from flowing properly.
