Epifanes CR Antifouling Primer
- 1-component primer
- Chlorinated rubber-based paint
- In 0.75 and 2.5 litre packaging
Epifanes CR Antifouling Primer is an underwater and antifouling primer based on chlorinated rubber. This 1-component primer is fast-drying and versatile, suitable for use on various substrates. When applied at the recommended film thickness (minimum 300 microns = 5–6 coats), it provides excellent rust protection and preservative properties. Thanks to its chlorinated rubber base, the product has sufficient elasticity to accommodate movement in the substrate.
Application of Epifanes Antifouling Primer
The Epifanes antifouling primer is suitable for use as an underwater protective system for steel, wood, aluminium, and polyester. In addition, the Epifanes antifouling primer can be used as an intermediate layer over existing (traces of) antifouling and tar-based systems when applying a hard or self-polishing antifouling.
