Epifanes CR Antifouling Primer

Epifanes CR Antifouling primer is a tough underwater- and antifouling primer based on chlorinated rubber. It is quick drying and can be used on various (coated) substrates. With sufficient layer thickness (at least 300 microns = 5 to 6 layers), this primer offers excellent anti rust prevention and conservaton in sufficient dry film thickness. Because the product is based on chlorinated rubber, it has sufficient elasticity to absorb workings in the substrate. This primer ensures optimum adhesion of antifouling paint on wood, steel, aluminium and polyester, which extends the life of the antifouling and provides better protection for the hull against algae and shell growth.

Product advice
Do not allow this product to cure longer than 7 days before applying antifouling. After 7 days it should be sanded with 150-180 grit.
