Araldite 2020 is a liquid, two-component epoxy adhesive that cures at room temperature. The adhesive is completely colourless, transparent, and has a refractive index that closely matches that of glass. This makes Araldite 2020 the professional choice for invisible bonding of glass and ceramics. Thanks to its very low viscosity, it is also ideally suited for clear castings (small volumes), component potting, and laminates.

Araldite 2020 is suitable for bonding the following materials:

Processing
Clean the surface to be bonded and degrease thoroughly. Mix the components in the correct ratio and stir well with the supplied spatula. Scrape the bottom and sides of the cup while stirring. Pour the mixture into a new cup and mix again. The adhesive is now ready to use. Apply the adhesive to the bonding surfaces using a brushand press the parts together. Make sure they remain fixed in position for at least 16 hours for proper curing.
To significantly reduce the curing time, the adhesive can be heated to approximately 40°C.
