Tec7 Trans Inox
- Semi-transparent sealant
- Watertight and airtight
- Super strong, permanently elastic
Tec7 Trans Inox is a semi-transparent sealing compound with stainless steel pigments, ideal for a clean and durable finish. The sealant reflects the color of the surface, effectively masking gaps and color transitions, while remaining highly elastic and extremely strong after rapid curing. In addition, Trans Inox is free from solvents and isocyanates and suitable for use on most construction materials.
Features of Tec7 Trans Inox
- Semi-transparent: adapts to the colour of the substrate.
- Masks gaps and colour transitions for a seamless finish.
- Fast curing, permanently elastic, and exceptionally strong.
- Free of solvents and isocyanates; nearly odourless.
- Safe on mirrors, no markings on natural stone.
- Even on wet surfaces.
- Fungus- and bacteria-resistant.
- Water and airtight.
- Can be used on most building materials.
Directions for use
- Processing temperature: +5°C to +40°C.
- Apply to a clean, dust- and grease-free substrate. Use Tec7 Prepare & Finish to clean and degrease safely, obtain the perfect finish, and to remove uncured Tec7 polymers. In case of heavy soiling, clean with Tec7 Cleaner.
- Apply with a suitable caulking gun. Ideal adhesive thickness for optimal adhesion strength is 3 mm.
- Test the adhesion to plastics, powder coatings, exotic woods or bituminous materials. Reinforce weak or porous substrates first with Poxy Primer.
-
Due to the wide variety of varnishes and paints on the market we recommend preliminary tests. Using products based on alkyd resin may delay the drying process.
