Floating nut plates are designed for through-hole and blind mounting applications. The rubber fixture holds the part in position while it is bonded with Weld Mount acrylic adhesive. The fixture keeps the threads clean during installation. Remove the rubber fixture when you are ready for final assembly. The floating design allows for accurate bolt alignment. Floating Nut Plates eliminate the need for thread tapping, resulting in significant labour cost savings.
