IJmofix putty set
- Polyester putty
- Suitable for small repairs
- Fast curing
The IJmofix putty set from De IJssel is suitable for minor damages in polyester, wood, aluminum or on pre-treated metals above the waterline. The 2-component polyester putty is white and is therefore very suitable for repairs to white (or light-coloured) polyester substrates. This polyester putty has a fast setting and low shrinkage. In addition, IJmofix is easy to sand after 30 minutes.
Benefits of the IJmofix putty Set
- Specially developed for repairs of white (or light coloured) polyester substrates.
- Can be painted directly with DD Paint.
- Low shrinkage and fast curing.
- Excellent adhesion to polyester surfaces.
- Perfectly sandable after 30 minutes.
Instructions for use
Be sure to clean, degrease and sand the surface well before starting filling with IJmofix. Weigh the desired amount of IJmofix (base) and then mix it very thoroughly according to the correct mixing ratio (100 parts by weight of base, 2 parts by weight of hardener) with the hardener. Only prepare a quantity that can be applied within the processing time. Then apply the polyester putty as desired with a putty knife and smooth the surface as tightly as possible. After 60 minutes (at 20°C), you can apply another coat of IJmofix or Double Coat, after sanding the first coat with 120 to 180-grit paper.
