Product description

Liquid paraffin is a product intended for professional use. It can be added to various polyester products at a dosage of 3% to modify their curing properties. Liquid paraffin is also known as wax in styrene.

Applications

RESION Liquid paraffin can be added to:

  • Polyester laminating resins:
    Add paraffin to laminating resin for tack-free curing (note: polyester laminating resins from Polyestershoppen already cure tack-free under normal circumstances).

  • Polyester gelcoats:
    An addition of 3% paraffin to gelcoat will turn it into a polyester topcoat and cure tack-free.
