Liquid paraffin is a product for professionals. You can add paraffin to o various polyester products at an addition rate of 3% to change the curing properties.
Applications
Liquid paraffin can be added to:
- Polyester laminating resins:
Add paraffin to laminating resin for tack-free curing (note: polyester laminating resins from Polyestershoppen already cure tack-free under normal circumstances). - Polyester gelcoats:
An addition of 3% paraffin to gelcoat will turn it into a polyester topcoat and cure tack-free.
