G8 Super Polyurethane resin

- High-gloss PU resin
- UV-resistant
- Scratch-resistant
G8 Super Polyurethane Resin is a high-quality, 1-component solvent-based polyurethane resin. It cures through humidity in the air and is applied in thin layers. Once cured, G8 Super forms a durable, high-gloss topcoat that is highly resistant to scratches, UV radiation, and yellowing.
Thanks to its strong adhesion to porous substrates, G8 Super is versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications. In addition, the coating provides excellent chemical resistance against solvents, diluted acids, and bases.
Applications
G8 Super Polyurethane Resin is suitable for:
- Waterproofing porous substrates.
- High-gloss varnish for interior and exterior woodwork.
- Sealing materials such as wood, copper, epoxy, polyurethane and polyester laminate.
Directions for use
- Ensure the surface is dry, grease-free and dust-free.
- Apply G8 Super with a brush or roller (consumption: approximately 200-300g/m², depending on the surface).
- For porous surfaces: dilute the first coat with 20-25% PU thinner, the second coat with 0-25%, and apply the final coat undiluted.
- Apply the next coat after 2-4 hours, once the previous layer is tack-free. Do not exceed 8 hours between coats.
- For a smooth finish, lightly sand the surface before applying the final coat.
- Seal any opened can tightyl, as the contents may react with humidity and harden.
Wear a suitable vapour mask when working with polyurethane resin.
