RESION PU Foam is a lightweight, rigid polyurethane foam, ideal for filling hollow spaces in boats, tanks and floats. It is also widely used for insulation, as well as for creating sculptures, carvings, moulds, and models.
This polyurethane foam is easy to mix and expands within 1–2 minutes to approximately 20–25 times its original volume. It has a very fine cell structure and can be easily shaped with simple tools. Once cured, the 2K PU foam is compatible with both polyester and epoxy resins, allowing you to finish it with these materials as desired.

Applications 2K PU foam
This polyurethane foam is suitable for a wide range of applications:
- Filling hollow spaces in boats, tanks, and floats.

- Lightweight constructions.
Directions for use
First, determine the required amount of PU foam for your project. Please note that in narrow cavities an overdose of up to 100% may be necessary to completely fill the cavity. To obtain comparable results, make sure that the conditions are the same. Follow the steps below to use the product:
- Ensure that Component A (polyol) and Component B (isocyanate) are at least 18 °C before use.
- Accurately measure the components in a 1:1 ratio by volume.
- Preferably use a large mixer to thoroughly mix the components at approximately 1500 rpm for 5–10 kg batches.
- Pour the mixture immediately into the desired cavity or mould.
- Allow the foam to fully expand and cure (free-rise density: approx. 48–60 kg/m³).
Important notes
- Work quickly. The pot life is only 1–2 minutes.
- In narrow or enclosed cavities, overfilling (up to 100%) may be necessary.
- Lower temperatures result in less expansion.
- Lightly dampen small cavities to improve adhesion.
- Position long, narrow moulds at an angle of 10–15°.
