2-component PU foam with closed-cell structure for filling double bottoms of boats and cavities and for sound and heat insulation. The hard polyurethane foam is also used to make sculptures and carvings or moulds and models.
This polyurethane foam is easy to mix after which it takes on around 20-25x its volume. The foam is very fine-celled and can be worked with simple tools. After curing, the 2K PU foam is resistant to polyester and epoxy resins, so you can use these materials to finish the foam as you wish.
