High temperature sealant tape

Sealant Tape (tack tape) is a double-sided tape specially developed for vacuum processing. It provides a strong, airtight seal between the vacuum film and the mould or surface. The tape is also ideal for sealing hoses airtight through the vacuum film. It maintains excellent adhesion even under low temperature fluctuations and is resistant to high temperatures of up to 200 °C.

Thanks to its strong adhesion, the tape stays firmly in place throughout the entire curing process—whether in an oven or an autoclave. After use, it can be removed easily and cleanly, leaving no residue on the tools. This makes it highly suitable for repeated use in production environments.

Directions for use

Follow the steps below when using Sealant Tape:

1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, flat and dust-free.
2. Apply the sealant tape to the surface while keeping the protective film on the tape..
3. Press the tape down firmly to avoid air bubbles.
4. Remove the protective film (release liner) from the top of the tape.
5. Place the vacuum film over the tape.
6. Press the film down firmly by hand to ensure a proper seal.
