Colloidal Silica 406 is an epoxy thickening agent from the brand West System. This white filler has been specially developed to control the viscosity of epoxy, preventing it from running off vertical surfaces. It is a very strong filler that creates a smooth mixture, making it ideal for general epoxy bonding and fillets.
Applications
Colloidal Silica can be used for various purposes, such as:

This filler can be used with any type of epoxy, for example West System Epoxy or RESION Epoxy.
Tip: this product is comparable to Stewathix thickening agent. Unlike Colloidal Silica, Stewathix does not produce dust, so fillers do not scatter around the workspace, keeping your work area clean during use.
