Product description
Damaged or rotten wood does not always need to be replaced. With the West System Wood Rot Repair Kit, you can repair and strengthen wood affected by rot. The low-viscosity epoxy penetrates deep into weakened wood fibres and bonds them back together. This allows you to repair damaged wooden components without having to replace them completely.
The epoxy is 100% solvent-free and remains slightly flexible after curing. This allows the repair to accommodate the natural movement of the wood. Suitable for boats, window frames, motorhomes, caravans, furniture and other wooden structures.

- Low-viscosity epoxy penetrates deep into porous wood.
- 100% solvent-free.

- Can be sanded and finished after curing.
Repairing wood rot without replacing the entire component
Wood rot is often localised. If enough sound, solid wood remains, you can repair the affected area instead of replacing the entire component.
West System Wood Rot Repair Epoxy penetrates the porous, weakened wood structure and consolidates the remaining wood fibres. Once cured, it creates a solid base on which you can continue to build up and finish the repair.
Repairing missing wood and larger holes
Are sections of wood missing or have larger voids developed? Mix the wood rot repair epoxy with a suitable filler. This thickens the low-viscosity epoxy into a paste that can be used to fill voids or rebuild missing sections.
Once cured, the repair can be sanded, shaped and finished as required.
