Biaxial Glass Fabric 600 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- High torsional stiffness
- Laminate thickness: 0.78 mm
Biaxial glass fabric 600 gr/m2 is a high-quality multiaxial glass fabric and is often used in the construction of boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and similar products. This type of biaxial fabric has the highest layer thickness and consists of two unidirectional fabrics that are interwoven at an angle of 45 degrees. This creates excellent compressive and tensile strength. This makes it possible to create a light, but very stiff construction, making biaxial glass fabric an ideal choice for applications where both strength and weight are important.
Biaxial glass fabric is suitable for laminating in combination with epoxy, polyester and vinylester. With a resin consumption of approximately 549 grams per square meter, it produces a layer thickness of approximately 0.78 mm after lamination.
