Biaxial Glass Fabric 250 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- High torsional stiffness
- Laminate thickness: 0.34 mm
Biaxial glass fabric 250 gr/m2 is a high-quality multiaxial glass fabric which is used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. Biaxial glass fabric is a fabric that consists of 2 unidirectional fabrics connected at an angle of 45 degrees. This gives the glass mixture optimal compressive and tensile strength. This allows for a lightweight, yet highly rigid construction, making biaxial fiberglass an ideal choice for applications where both strength and weight are important.
Biaxial glass fabric is suited for laminating in combination with epoxy, polyester and vinylester. With a resin consumption of approximately 235 grams per square meter, it produces a layer thickness of approximately 0.34 mm after lamination.
Features of Biaxial glass fabric
- Two unidirectional fabrics interwoven at a 45 degree angle.
- Low resin absorption.
- High torsional stiffness.
