Product description
Biaxial glass fabric 250 gr/m2 is a high-quality multiaxial glass fabric used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. Biaxial glass fabric is a fabric that consists of 2 layers of unidirectional fibres oriented at 45 degrees. This gives the glass fibre structure optimal compressive and tensile strength. This allows for a lightweight yet highly rigid construction, making it an ideal choice for applications where both strength and weight are important.
Biaxial glass fabric is suitable for laminating with epoxy, polyester and vinylester. With a resin consumption of approximately 235 gr/m2, it produces a layer thickness of approximately 0.34 mm after lamination and curing.
Features of Biaxial glass fabric
- Two layers of unidirectional fibres oriented at 45 degrees.
- Low resin absorption.
- High torsional stiffness.
