- Suitable for epoxy and polyester
- Pliable glass fabric
- Approx. 0.45 mm layer thickness
Twill fabric is a twill-woven glass fabric that is particularly suitable for laminating round shapes. Twill fabric is similar to square glass fabric, but is woven in a different way (2x2 twill). The heavier the fabric, the heavier and stronger the end product. Twill fabric 300 g/m2 is heavier than twill fabric 160 g/m2. This makes it more difficult to laminate this fabric in complex shapes. it is therefore wiser to laminate several thin layers of fabric instead of one thick layer.
As with square glass fibre, 300 g/m2 twill fabric absorbs little resin. The resin consumption is around 450 grams per square meter. Twill fabric 300 g/m2 is very well suitable for use in combination with polyester resin, vinylester resin and epoxy resin.
