Carbon fibre with a square weave. Known for its high rigidity, this carbon fibre is widely used in motorsport, aerospace, aircraft construction, yacht building and applications in such sectors.
Square carbon fabric is not pliable unlike twill fabric.
Processing carbon fabric
This fibre performs best with an epoxy resin, but is also used in combination with polyester resin in decorative coatings. If you go for the best performance, you can also use vacuum techniques, however, this is not necessary for most applications.
