Polyester precoat protects the glass fibres from moisture and provides a layer that has a high gloss and is easy to work with. Gelcoat is used in moulds. It evens out relief and makes the glass fibres stick.
This iso-npg gelcoat has very good resistance to water, chemicals and heat. The polyester gelcoat can be combined with all polyester laminating resins and topcoats. The gelcoat is supplied transparent and can be coloured with any polyester pigment paste of your choice.
Gelcoat always sticks to the evaporation side. To prevent this you can use polyester topcoat.

Processing time: 20 minutes (at 20 degrees)
Shelf life: 3 to 6 months
In the table below you can find the required amount of hardener. The amount of pigment paste depends on the chosen colour.
