Froth-Pak insulation spray foam, 400 and 1400 litr
- High-quality PU foam
- Very high insulating value
- Very user-friendly
With Froth-Pak sets, you can easily produce high-quality PU foam at lightning speed. The insulation foam solidifies in about 60 seconds and is fully cured in just 10 minutes. The cured foam has a very high insulation value and adds structural support to most substrates (including wood, metal and glass). In addition, Froth-Pak dampens noise, fills cavities and provides a perfect air seal.
User-friendly polyurethane
The sprayable polyurethane foam comes with 2 pressure tanks and is designed for ease of use. Once the hose set is connected, it is ready for use. No compressor is required. The insulation foam can be dosed with the spray gun (included with the hose set) on, for example, walls, ceilings, roofs and in gaps.
Environmentally friendly PU foam
To comply with EU regulations on fluorinated greenhouse gases, Dupont has updated Froth-Pak’s formulation. From July 2022, Froth-Pak PU foam contains the most environmentally friendly blowing agent. The formulation uses HFO instead of HFC. HFO has a very low global warming potential (GWP).
Polyurethane insulation
Polyurethane insulation provides an excellent solution for thermal insulation and airtightness. Froth-Pak is a spray foam insulation system consisting of two components that combine to form a fast-curing, rigid foam layer. This combination is ideal for sealing gaps, cracks and joints, improving energy efficiency, and reducing air infiltration in buildings. Using polyurethane in the form of Froth-Pak helps effectively insulate hard-to-reach areas, making it a preferred choice for both new-build and renovation projects.
Benefits of Froth-Pak PU foam
- Very low global warming potential (GWP) due to HFO blowing agent.
- Fine-celled moisture-proof system.
- Very high insulation value (lambda value 0.021).
- Fast curing in approx. 10 minutes.
- No more condensation.
- Easy application.
Directions for use
In the video below, Kees explains how to prepare the Froth-Pak for use. Make sure the cylinders have the right temperature of 24-30°C during use. If necessary, use our Froth-Pak heating jackets for this. Read the instructions carefully before use.
Calculation examples
- With a 400 litre set, you can cover 13 m2 with a 3 cm thick layer or 4 m2 with a 10 cm thick layer.
- With a 1400 litre set, you can cover 45 m2 with a 3-cm-thick layer or 14 m2 with a 10-cm-thick layer.
Required accessories
As you have seen in the video, some accessories are required to use the insulation foam correctly. The accessories below will help you work efficiently, effectively and safely. Froth-Pak is supplied without the necessary accessories.
