Release coated peel ply is a high-temperature-resistant, finely woven nylon peel ply with a silicone release coating. Thanks to the coating, the peel ply does not adhere to the cured laminate and can be easily removed after curing. This leaves a clean, lightly textured surface suitable for further bonding or finishing.
This silicone-coated peel ply is suitable for various resin and composite systems and is widely used in the production of composite parts. It is ideal for thinner laminates and applications where preventing pre-release is important.
The excellent release properties ensure that the peel ply can be easily removed from the laminate. Please note that silicone coatings may, in some cases, transfer substances to the laminate surface. Therefore, check beforehand whether the surface is suitable for the intended subsequent treatment.
