Epoxy primer for smooth substrates
- Adheres to tiles, glass etc.
- Fast curing
- Low consumption
This thin two-component epoxy primer is great for working on smooth surfaces and is easy to apply. The epoxy primer for smooth surfaces is the ideal epoxy resin for smooth concrete substrates (such as concrete kitchen worktops), tiles or glass. In addition, this primer also works great on ceramic substrates.
Epoxy primer on smooth floors
Do you have a floor that is too hard of too smooth? This will prevent paint from adhering well and it will cause the paint to peel and chip sooner. In this case, an epoxy primer on the subfloor works well.
Watch the video below to learn how to use epoxy floor coating in combination with the epoxy primer for smooth surfaces.
This primer is suitable for the following substrates or applications, among others:
- As a primer on power floated concrete.
- Bonding of glass.
- As a base primer on smooth wall tiles.
- As a primer for tile floors or walls.
- As a primer for mosaic.
- As a base coat for concrete countertops/work surfaces.
- As a primer for ceramic substrates.
Before applying the epoxy, always make sure that the surface is degreased and dry and clean it beforehand with, for example, ammonia diluted with water. Mix the two components well and apply with a velor roller. After curing for approximately 16 to 36 hours work can be continued with sanding. After 36 hours (or when applying two coats) always sand the surface slightly first. After that you can continue working, for example with the epoxy floor coating, epoxy casting resin or a universal epoxy in combination with a glass fabric.
