Square Glass Fabric 400 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- For panel stiffness
- Very good wetting
Square glass fabric 400 gr/m2 is a high quality fabric which is often used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. After lamination hand lay-up), the glass fabric has a thickness of 0.53 mm. Laminating glass fabric is easy in combination with epoxy, polyester and vinylester. The resin absorption is approximately 373 grams per square metre.
Square glass fabric 400 gr/m2
Square glass fabric consists of 2 layers of unidirectional fibres: 1 layer in the length of the roll and 1 layer in the width of the roll. This weave structure ensures optimum compressive and tensile strength, making the fabric ideal for creating light, yet very rigid constructions. Because the fibres lie close together, resin absorption is minimised. The unique thing about Square glass fabric is that it provides a high flexural strength.
