Square Glass Fabric 400 gr/m2
  • Low resin absorption
  • For panel stiffness
  • Very good wetting

Square glass fabric 400 gr/m2 is a high quality fabric. This type of glass fibre is used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. After lamination, the glass mixture has a thickness of 0.44 mm. Laminating glass mixture is easy in combination with epoxypolyester and vinylester. The resin absorption is approximately 330 grams per square metre. Glaslegsel Square is also available in a heavier variant (Square Glass Fabric 600 gr/m2c).

Square glass fabric 400 gr/m2

Square glass fabric is a fabric that consists of 2 layers of unidirectional fibres, 1 layer in the length of the roll and 1 layer in the width of the roll. This gives the fibre optimum compressive and tensile strength. The advantage of multiaxial glass fabric is that it can be used to create a light yet stiff construction. Resin absorption is minimised because the fibres lie close together. The special feature of square glass fabric is its high bending strength.
