Square Glass Fabric 400 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- For panel stiffness
- Very good wetting
Square glass fabric 400 gr/m2 is a high-quality fabric often used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. After hand lay-up lamination, the glass fabric has a thickness of 0.53 mm. Laminating glass fabric is easy to laminate with epoxy, polyester and vinylester. The resin absorption is approximately 373 gr/m2.
Square glass fabric 400 gr/m2
Square glass fabric consists of two layers of unidirectional fibres: 1 layer along the length of the roll and 1 across the width. This weave structure ensures optimum compressive and tensile strength, making the fabric ideal for creating light yet very rigid constructions. Due to the tight fibre alingnment, resin absorption is minimised. A key advantage of square glass fabric is that it provides a high flexural strength.
