Square Glass Fabric 600 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- For panel stiffness
- Very good wetting
Square glass fabric 600 gr/m2 is a high quality heavy fabric which is often used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. The fabric consists of 2 layers of unidirectional fibres, 1 layer in the length of the roll and 1 layer in the width of the roll. This gives the fibre an optimal compressive and tensile strength.
The advantage of this square glass fabric is that it allows for a light, yet very stiff construction. Because the fibres lie close together, resin absorption is minimised, which contributes to the efficiency and strength of the laminate. Square glass fabric offers a high flexural strength and results in a thickness of 0.78 mm after lamination. The fabric is easy to laminate in combination with epoxy, polyester and vinylester,w ith a resin absorption of approximately 495 grams per square metre.
