Tec7 WP7-202 Roof Tape

Tec7 Roof Tape is a high-quality aluminium sealing tape from Tec7's Waterprotect (WP) product line. You can use WP7-202 Roof Tape, for example, for sealing veranda roofs or drain pipes. The composition of the butyl rubber adhesive ensures very high initial tack on most building materials. The highly flexible rubber compound adapts to any shape and fills irregularities in the substrate. The aluminium backing is reinforced with plastic, making it tear-resistant, dimensionally stable and extremely weather-resistant. WP7-202 is lead-coloured and paintable.

Applications

• Ideal for repairing and replacing lead flashing.
• Adheres extremely well to concrete, stone, planed wood, plaster, lead, zinc, steel, aluminium, polycarbonate, paintwork, roofing membranes and glass.
• Suitable for sealing roof joints, zinc or PVC gutters, roof domes, chimneys, pipe penetrations, grilles, lead flashing, drainpipes and verandas.

Directions for use

• Apply at temperatures between +5 °C and +40 °C.
• Apply Tec7 Roof Tape to a clean, dry and stable surface.
• Cut the tape to the desired length and remove the protective film.
• Apply without trapping air bubbles and press down firmly.
