Mirka Polarshine 5 Finishing Compound

Mirka Polarshine 5 is a fine polishing compound (finishing compound) that is water-based and effectively removes holograms and swirls while creating a deep, mirror-like gloss. It is suitable for both new and older paint finishes.

For optimal results, use Polarshine 5 as the final finishing step after a coarser polish, such as Mirka Polarshine 15 of Polarshine 20.

Directions for use

We recommend applying Mirka Polarshine 5 with a machine. Follow the instructions below for a perfect polishing result:

1. Shake the product well before use.
2. Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before starting.
3. Apply a small amount of polish to a soft polishing pad (black).
4. Polish the surface at 800 – 2000 rpm using a rotary polishing machine. 
5. Work on sections of approximately 40 × 40 cm at a time for optimal results.
6. Continue polishing until the desired final gloss is achieved.
7. Wipe the surface clean after polishing with a clean microfibre cloth.
