Teroson RB 81 Sealant Tape (tacky tape)

Teroson RB 81 is a high-quality butyl rubber-based tacky tape developed for the airtight sealing of vacuum bags in vacuum infusion and other composite applications. The tape provides strong adhesion to a wide range of substrates and ensures a seamless and reliable seal.

The sealing tape is easy to apply and suitable for both bag-to-bag and bag-to-mould connections. Thanks to its plasto-elastic properties, Teroson RB 81 remains flexible and conforms perfectly to the surface. The tape is also self-welding, ensuring seamless and reliable sealing of connections.

In addition to vacuum applications, Teroson RB 81 is suitable for a wide range of uses. The tape can be used, for example, to seal overlapping joints, join PE films and plastic parts, and repairing minor leaks in piping systems and around taps.

An important advantage is that a sealed connection can be reopened if required, for example for maintenance, repair or recycling. The tape is black, paintable and resistant to temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C. For short periods (max. 1 hour), the tape can even withstand temperatures up to 200 °C.
