Product description
These chopped glass fibres (also called chopped strands or glass fibre shreds) are perfect for use in combination with polyester resins. You can easily mix them with polyester resin to reinforce corners, fill holes or carry out small repairs. Due to their short fibre length of 3 mm, they spread well through the resin, which ensures a firm and even mass.
Applications of glass fibres
Glass fibres are often used in yacht building, car body repair and for all kinds of polyester repairs. Think of:
- Reinforcing sharp corners in moulds or constructions.
- Filling in damage or irregularities.
- Making thick laminates for extra strength.
- Making a paste with resin for local repairs.
