Gelcoat repair kit
- Repair scratches in gelcoat
- Complete repair set
- Including manual and video
Repair gelcoat damage to your boat easily with this complete gelcoat repair kit. This kit contains all the materials you need for a professional gel coat repair. The repair kit contains an adhesive-free hardening polyester topcoat that is easy to apply.
How to use the gelcoat repair kit
First prepare the repair spot by sanding the surface well. Then mix the topcoat well with the hardener in the mixing cup provided. After careful mixing, the polyester topcoat is ready to use to repair cracks and scratches in your boat. Apply the topcoat and let it cure for at least 48 hours.
For best results, we recommend sanding and then polishing the cured topcoat after applying the topcoat. If you do this the right way, you won't see any of the damage. We have a complete polishing set for gelcoat repairs for this.
Do you need to repair a crack or hole in a polyester laminate first? Then you can combine this set with a polyester repair kit.
