IJmopox ZF Primer

De IJssel IJmopox ZF Primer is a two-component epoxy primer with excellent rust-preventive properties, making it ideal for use on various metals. It also adheres well to plastics and aluminum and can be used to repair hairline cracks and crazing. IJmopox ZF Primer offers outstanding mechanical strength and is easy to apply.

The IJssel ZF Primer can be overcoated with HB Coating, Double Coat, and other two-component paint systems. Before overcoating, ensure the surface is sanded, clean, and free of grease.

Directions for use 

Follow the instructions below to apply the epoxy primer correctly: 

1. Clean, sand and degrease the surface.
2. Wipe the surface with a tack cloth to remove the last dust. .
3. Stir the base component and weigh the desired amount into a clean mixing cup. 
4. Add the hardener in the correct ratio to the base. 
5. Stir the mixture well. 
6. Dilute the primer as desired and application with approximately 5% IJmopox Thinner.
7. Apply the primer evenly to the surface with a brush or velour roller. Roll the surface immediately, without pressing hard. 
8. Let the primer cure for 24 hours.
