Quartzline Coating PU SG NF Satin Gloss

Quartzline Coating PU SG NF Satin Gloss is a transparent, 2-component, water-based polyurethane topcoat with a stylish satin gloss finish. This topcoat for resin flooring systems combines high wear resistance with a very low solvent content and complies with the strict German AgBB standard.

Thanks to the added UV absorbers, Coating PU SG NF Satin Gloss also provides additional protection against yellowing, helping to preserve the colour and appearance of the substrate for longer. The smooth finish also has bacteriostatic properties. This means that microorganisms cannot multiply on the surface of the coating. This makes Quartzline Coating PU SG NF Satin Gloss particularly suitable for environments with high hygiene requirements, such as hospitals, laboratories and other professional facilities.

Directions for use

The satin gloss PU topcoat is easy to use. Follow the instructions below or refer to the technical documentation.

• While stirring, add all of component B to component A.
• Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained (at least 3 minutes).
• Allow the mixture to react for 10 minutes.
• Pour the mixture into a clean bucket, pass it through a sieve and mix again to ensure that no unmixed material remains.
• Do not pour the coating directly onto the floor. Instead, pour a small amount into a paint tray. Work wet-on-wet and avoid puddling.
• Use a velour roller to apply the coating. Load the roller in the paint tray and roll off any excess until it no longer drips.
• Apply the coating to the floor using crosswise strokes. Do not work on areas that are too large, as this may cause the coating to start drying before application is complete. Work systematically, section by section, to prevent lap marks. With this transparent coating, it can be difficult to see which areas have already been coated.
