West System Epoxy Slow is a transparent, low-viscosity epoxy resin that delivers excellent performance across a wide range of applications. When combined with 206 Slow Hardener, it forms a slow-curing epoxy system that is ideal for projects requiring a long working time.
This epoxy system provides a strong, moisture-resistant, and durable bond and can be used as an adhesive, filler, or laminating resin in various industries.

Applications
Like other universal epoxy resins, West System Epoxy Slow can be used for bonding and laminating:
- Wood fibres
- Glass fibres
- Reinforcing fabrics
- Composite materials
- Various metals
Directions for use
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and grease-free.
- Mix 5 parts 105 Epoxy Resin with 1 part 206 Slow Hardener (ratio 5:1).
- Stir the mixture thoroughly for at least 3 minutes, including along the edges and bottom of the container. Only mix the amount you can use within the pot life.
- Optionally, add fillers to modify the resin.
- Apply the epoxy with a brush, roller, or spatula. The working time is approximately 30 minutes at 25°C.
- For laminating: ensure complete saturation of the fabric.
- For bonding: apply a thin layer of epoxy to both surfaces.
- Allow the material to cure for approximately 9–12 hours.
- Sand or overcoat only once the epoxy is fully cured.
