Triaxial Glass Fabric 600 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- For torsional stiffness
- For tensile strength
Triaxial glass fabric 600 gr/m2 is a high-quality fabric. The glass fabric is used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and similar applications. After lamination and curing, the triaxial fabric has a thickness of 0.53 mm. The fabric is easy to laminate and consumes approximately 500 gr/m2 of resin.
What is Triaxial glass fabric?
Triaxial glass fabric consists of 3 layers of unidirectional fibres oriented at 0, -45 and +45 degrees. This provides excellent compressive and tensile strength. Multiaxial glass fabric enables lightweight yet rigid constructions. Resin absorption is minimised due to the tight fibre alignment.
Triaxial glass fabric provides high bending strength and improves torsional rigidity.
