Triaxial Glass Fabric 600 gr/m2
- Low resin absorption
- For torsional stiffness
- For tensile strength
Triaxial glass fabric 600 gr/m2 is a high quality fabric. The glass fabric is used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and similar applications. After lamination, the triaxial fabric has a thickness of 0.65 mm. The product is easy to use and consumes approximately 500 grams of resin per square metre.
What is Triaxial glass fabric?
Triaxial glass fabric consists of 3 unidirectional fabrics that are connected at an angle of 0, -45 and +45 degrees. This gives the fabric an optimal compressive and tensile strength. The advantage of multiaxial glass fabric is that it can be used to create a lightweight yet rigid construction. Resin absorption is minimised because the fibres lie close together.
Triaxial glass fabric provides a high bending strength, but also improves the torsional rigidity of constructions.
