Triaxial Glass Fabric 400 gr/m2
  • Low resin absorption
  • For torsional stiffness
  • For tensile strength

Triaxial glass fabric 400 gr/m2  is a high quality fabric. The glass fabric is used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and similar applications. After lamination, the triaxial fabric has a thickness of 0.49 mm. The product is easy to use and consumes approximately 320 grams of resin per square metre.

What is triaxial stitched glass fabric?

Triaxial glass fabric is a fabric that consists of 3 unidirectional fabrics that are connected at an angle of 0, -45 and +45 degrees. This gives the fabric an optimal compressive and tensile strength. The advantage of multiaxial glass fabric is that it can be used to create a lightweight yet rigid construction. Resin absorption is minimised because the fibres lie close together.

Triaxial glass fabric provides a high bending strength, but also improves the torsional rigidity of constructions.
