Double Coat DD Paint Satin Gloss is a high-quality 2-component varnish with a satin gloss appearance. You use this paint to embellish and protect polyester, epoxy, PVC, metal or wood. Due to its high scratch resistance and long colour retention, Double Coat DD Paint is extremely suitable as a boat varnish. This product is always supplied with the corresponding hardener.

Application of DD Paint Satin Gloss

DD Paint Satin Gloss is suitable for almost any application and situation. The Double Coat paint is known for its high colour and scratch resistance. Additionally, it provides long-lasting protection against UV light, making it ideal for giving your boat a new colour. Even after extended periods, the polyester lacquer can be polished easily, allowing you to correct any damage or scratches. Use Double Coat Paint Satin Gloss for applications above the waterline.

Directions for use

Before applying DD Paint Satin Gloss, the surface must be properly prepared (sanded to P280 and degreased with BioSafe). Some substrates (wood, metal) require a primer (use HB Coating or ZF Primer). When using colours DC 842 (orange) and DC 845 (red), it is recommended to apply a base layer of ochre yellow (DC 837).

Double Coat Satin Gloss is preferably applied with a spray for the most streak-free result.

Please note:  if you want to apply DD Paint in multiple coats, this is not a problem. Ensure that both components are stored separately and unmixed between applications.
