- High quality PU casting resin
- For model making and industry
- Fast curing
Polyurethane casting resin is a product often used for casting various castings for model making, moulded parts machine building, etc. It is also called PU casting resin and is characterised by its very fast curing and low shrinkage. At Polyestershoppen.co.uk, we supply this resin exclusively from the brand RESION, a manufacturer of the best quality resins.
Properties
The PU casting resin is designed for fast, precise castings. The casting resin is beige in colour and works on the basis of a two-component system. It can be poured up to 10 cm thick and can be filled with fillers according to the application.
Application
Moulds, casting moulds, clamps, tools, replicas, prototypes and many more moulded parts are common applications for the polyurethane casting resin. This resin can be poured up to several centimetres thick. It is possible to add fillers to it. The mixing ratio is simple: 1:1. So, prior to use, you add the same amount of both components. The processing time is about 10 minutes and the full curing time at 25ºC is 60-90 minutes. The maximum temperature is 80 degrees.
