Glass Fibre Tape 220 gr/m2 (20 cm)
At a glance
- For epoxy and polyester
- Perfect for corner finishes
- Width: 20 cm
Product description
Glass fibre tape is a narrow, tightly woven glass fabric that is highly suitable for local repairs and reinforcement. This version is 20 cm wide and can be easily used with epoxy resin, polyester resin and vinylester resin.
After lamination, the resulting layer thickness is approximately 0.38 mm, with an average resin consumption of around 60 grams per linear metre. Thanks to its stable weave structure, the glass fibre tape can be laminated smoothly onto flat surfaces without wrinkling. This results in a neat, even finish, particularly when used with epoxy resin.
Thanks to its relatively narrow width, this glass fibre tape is also highly suitable for finishing and reinforcing corners, seams and edges.
Applications of glass fibre tape
Glass fibre tape is suitable for the following applications:
- Small repairs and local reinforcement.
- Corner and edge reinforcement.
- Wrapping pipes, frames and profiles.
