With this polyester pigment paste you can easily add the right colour to gelcoats, topcoats, laminating resin and casting resins. RESION polyester pigments are resistant to sunlight and mix easily with polyester, gelcoat or topcoat. Our polyester pigment pastes are available in all RAL colours (view the RAL colour chart).

Processing polyester pigment paste

We advise you to gradually dose and add polyester pigment paste to the resin. Then mix intensively until the resin has reached the desired colour. Lighter pigments require a higher dosage to achieve the desired colour. The video below shows how to use polyester pigment in combination with transparent polyester topcoat.

Laminating resin (pre-colour) 3 to 5%
Solid castings 1 to 3%

^*Note: due to the dosing of different colours it is difficult to mix this small quantity mechanically. For a colourfast gelcoat or topcoat, we advise to order gelcoat- or topcoat on colour.
