Product description
Making your own epoxy coasters in the shape of geodes? You can do so very easily with this mould set containing five geode moulds in different sizes. The moulds are made of silicone so the epoxy does not adhere to the mould. So you can easily remove the cured resin from the mould and then use this mould several times.
Tip: a release agent spray makes demoulding easier and helps extend mould life.
Suitable epoxy resin
Using suitable epoxy is important for the end result of your homemade coasters. Want to use epoxy that is highly resistant to UV radiation and very easy to process? Then choose RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy LV (low viscosity), RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy MV (medium viscosity) or MasterCast epoxy. Because these epoxy resins do not discolour under UV light, you do not need a UV stabiliser. For all epoxy resins, see the Epoxy category.
Use UltraCast epoxy resin to increase the heat resistance of coasters (up to 75°C). This way you reduce the risk of rings on your coasters!
