RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy MV is an epoxy resin with a medium viscosity. This versatile epoxy is highly suitable for a wide range of Resin Art applications, particularly for coating and creating paintings and other artwork on all types of substrates. The epoxy resin is very easy to use with a 2:1 mixing ratio, is crystal clear and contains built-in UV stabilisers. If you are looking for a thicker epoxy, RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy MV is the casting resin you need.

Epoxy with medium viscosity
This Resin Art epoxy has a medium viscosity (thickness). This means the epoxy flows relatively thickly, making it highly suitable for creating Resin Art paintings. Due to its medium viscosity, pigments settle more slowly in the epoxy. This medium-viscosity Art Epoxy is therefore also very suitable for use with alcohol inks (such as Piñata). You can influence the placement of pigments using a hairdryer or heat gun.
Directions for use
Working with RESION Art Epoxy is very straightforward if you follow these steps:
- Accurately weigh the base component (A) and hardener (B) according to the mixing ratio stated on the packaging (2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by weight).
- Mix the base and hardener thoroughly for 3 minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing container well.
- If desired, add pigments to colour the resin.
- Then apply the epoxy to the chosen substrate (processing time is 30-60 minutes at 20℃).
- Allow the Art Epoxy to cure for approximately 12-18 hours until it is handleable (note: full curing takes 3-5 days).
