Epoxy floor primer for smooth substrates
- Suitable for concrete flooring
- High yield
- Fast curing
This epoxy floor primer has been especially developed for transparent applications, on normal and smooth surfaces. This makes this primer suitable for levelled concrete floors, tiled floors, wall tiles, mosaic, concrete counter tops and ceramic substrates.
Instructions for use epoxy floor primer
When applying epoxy floor primer always make sure the substrate is dry and free of grease and clean it beforehand, for example with ammonia diluted with water (1:10). Let this dry thoroughly before applying the primer. After 16 to 48 hours after applying the primer, work can be continued without sanding. After 48 hours or when applying 2 layers, you should always sand the surface lightly first. After this, work can be continued with the transparent epoxy floor coating.
You can also order the primer in the colour white. White primer is mainly used to cover a light coloured epoxy coating floor better.
For a PU or an Epoxy cast floor a coloured primer is not necessarily required. The layer of these floor systems is considerably thicker and therefore provides better coverage.
