600 gr/m2 Square Glass Fabric
- Low resin absorption
- For panel stiffness
- Very good wetting
600 gr/m2square glass fabric s a heavy fabric of high quality. This type of glassblend is used for building boats, surfboards, longboards, skis and much more. After lamination, the glass mixture has a thickness of 0.66 mm. Laminating glass mixture can easily be done in combination with epoxy, polyester and vinylester. The resin absorption is approximately 495 grams per square metre. Square glass fabric is also available in a heavier variant (400 gr/m2 Square Glass Fabric).
The fabric consists of 2 layers of unidirectional fibres, 1 layer in the length of the roll and 1 layer in the width of the roll. This gives the fibre an optimal compressive and tensile strength. The advantage of multiaxial glass fibre is that a light yet stiff construction can be created. Resin absorption is minimised because the fibres lie close together.
Square glass fabric provides a high bending strength.
