How to make a marble painting

Using the following step-by-step plan, you can easily make a marble painting. Of course, you can also follow these steps when making a table, coaster or other work of art. To make a painting, you can use an MDF disk, for example.

• Pour the epoxy base (A) into the mixing cup and add the hardener (B) to it according to the ratio on the package. The mixing ratio of the epoxy from the package is 100:50. It is very important to weigh the parts accurately with a (digital) scale.
• Mix both components well but gently for 3 minutes. Also scrape well along the bottom and side of the mixing cup.
• Mix the pigment paste in the colour of your choice with the epoxy and stir well again. Then pour this onto the MDF disc to give the disc a nice opaque base colour. After pouring, you can remove air bubbles with RESION Bubble Burst or a gas burner.
• Shake the Montana Marble Spray well and apply to the surface. For more information, see the Marble Spray product page.
• Create the desired effects with skewers, straws, other colours or, for example a hot air gun. Now leave to harden for about 24 hours.
