RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy LV
- Low viscosity
- UV stabilised
- 2:1 mixing ratio
- Suitable for jewellery etc.
RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy LV is an epoxy resin specially developed for making resin art. This epoxy is of high quality, is easy to process due to the 2:1 mixing ratio and has a very high UV stability. This makes the low viscosity (LV) epoxy universally applicable for making jewelery, orgonites, paintings, coasters and other art on all types of surfaces. Are you a starting or experienced resin art artist, then RESION UV Resin Art Epoxy LV is the epoxy resin you've been looking for! This resin is comparable to the RESION UV Epoxy.
Benefits of Resin Art Epoxy LV
- High quality transparent epoxy.
- Very high UV resistant.
- Adheres to almost all surfaces (such as wood, concrete and plastics).
- Easy in use due to a 2:1 mixing ratio.
- Low viscosity (thin spread).
- Odourless.
Low viscosity
This art epoxy has a low viscosity. This means that the epoxy resin flows thinly, which makes the resin very suitable for making Resin Art jewelery, orgonites, coasters and paintings. In addition, you can also use this epoxy to fill your own silicone moulds.
UV resistant resin art epoxy
We have extensively tested the UV Resin Art Epoxy for UV stability by testing the resin for a longer period in a special UV cabinet. This way we can guarantee that this epoxy resin is very resistant to UV radiation and will therefore not yellow. You do not need a UV stabiliser for this resin! The high UV stability also makes this Art Epoxy ideal for applications that will exposed to lots of sunlight, such as tables and jewellery.
How to use Art Epoxy LV
Using RESION Art Epoxy is very simple if you follow the following steps:
- Weigh the base component (A) and the hardener (B) well according to the mixing ratio stated on the packaging (2 parts by weight of resin on 1 part by weight of hardener).
- Mix the base component and the hardener thoroughly for 3 minutes. Also scrape well along the side and bottom of the mixing cup!
- If desired, add pigments to colour the resin.
- Apply the epoxy to the surface you will use (the pot life is 30-60 minutes at 20℃).
- After application, allow the Art Epoxy to cure for approximately 12-18 hours before it is manageable (note: it takes 3-5 days before the epoxy is fully cured).
