Product description

With RESION Epoxy Scratch Coat (EP Scratch Coat) you can easily smooth and fill floors. This scratch coat has a low viscosity, which ensures easy application. Thanks to the light filling properties, small holes and cracks are filled and levelled.

Epoxy scratch coat is often used for power-coated concrete floors. In addition, a scratch coat is often applied to floors that require high mechanical resistance, such as in industrial units and warehouses.

After applying the scratch coat, you can finish the floor with an epoxy floor coating, epoxy cast floor or PU cast floor.

Does the floor have large irregularities, holes or height differences? Then use RESION Levelling Epoxy to level the floor. 

Benefits of an epoxy scratch coat

Directions for use

  • First apply a suitable epoxy floor primer a and allow it to cure for 24 hours.
  • Pour the hardener of the epoxy scratch coat into the base component.
  • Mix for at least 3 minutes using a spiral mixer on a cordless drill. Scrape well along the bottom and sides of the can.
  • Pour the entire mixture directly onto the floor for the longest possible application time.
  • Spread the epoxy scraping coat with a floor squeegee and spread the material evenly across the floor.
  • Allow to cure for at least 24 hours before continuing with the floor system of your choice.
Tip: don't forget to order the right auxiliary materials. With the auxiliary materials package for a scratch coat you will have the right materials at home right away!
