The correct mixing ratios

With all of our products it is important to use the correct mixing ratio. Maintaining the correct mixing ratio is very important for optimal results. On this page you will find the mixing ratio of all our products. Is the mixing ratio of the epoxy you purchased not listed? Visit the product page or contact our customer service. The Polyestershoppen team will be happy to help.

Epoxy mixing ratios

Epoxy resin cures by mixing two components: the base component (resin) and hardener. These almost always come in separate packages. For epoxy to work optimally, it is important that the resin and hardener are mixed in the correct ratio. Each type of epoxy is different and has its own mixing ratio. A little too much of one of the components can quickly disrupt the chemical reaction, leaving the final product softer than intended. Therefore, always check the packaging to see which epoxy you have and stick to its mixing ratio. Usually, mixing ratios of epoxy resin are given as 100:XX. This indicates how many parts hardener 100 parts resin need to cure. Not sure how much epoxy you need? Then check out our article on epoxy quantities needed

Polyestershoppen mixing ratios

Polyestershoppen helps you find the correct epoxy mixing ratios. In the table below you will find the correct amounts of resin and hardener that you need to mix for each type of epoxy. All our mixing ratios are stated in grams and can therefore be weighed with a scale. Have you carefully weighed the resin and hardener? Then you can start mixing. To ensure that the epoxy gets the right structure, it is best to use the two-cup method. Follow our step-by-step plan in which we explain exactly how to mix epoxy. This way you can be sure that your project will be a great success. View the Polyestershopping mixing ratios in this table:

Flooring systems

We recommend that you prepare the entire quantity of the floor system products at once and process it correctly within the processing time. If you want to divide a set into multiple portions, we recommend halving the quantities or dividing by the number you want to make. For example, if you want to make a smaller amount four times, divide both or all components by 4 by weight. Please view all flooring systems here.

For mixing ratios, you can consult this overview below.
